An agent is a self-employed, independent representative of iCare247 and is paid commission on sales and a percentage of the monthly maintenance contract.

Agents will visit local, prospective customers at home to discuss their requirements.

Customer payments are made to iCare247, then the agent delivers and helps set up the system and shows the older person how it works.

Subsequently, agents can be called upon to add additional sensors and check they are working, help fix problems including changing batteries, and can be asked to make adjustments to the alert settings via the website.

A franchisee is similar to an agent, but they run their own business using an iCare247 license, equipment and materials. They directly sell all hardware products with payments made to the franchisee. The maintenance contract remains with iCare247 and is set up on line at

Training is available covering:

  1. Selling the product
  2. Setting up the product

The system is based on a plug-and-play model, however instructions on how to register a customer, set up payments, configure alarms for each sensor, pair new sensors and check the system is working well are covered

Clear, large print written instructions are available online which can be printed off.

We also run half-day training to cover the above.
